WOMEN TRANSFORMING AMERICAN POLITICS

CONGRESSWOMAN SUZANNE BONAMICI will speak about her own journey as a woman in a male dominated environment, the impact of the gender imbalance in Congress, and the  phenomenon of the influx of women entering the political arena for the first time.

After the Congresswoman’s remarks a panel of university and community members will dialogue with the Congresswomen about issues that arise from her comments. The panel discussion will be followed by audience Q&A. This event is non-partisan.
